I’ve had enough!22635_244012079904_241163829904_2961010_6339011_n

I’ve had enough of this out of control spending and the almost hourly growth in the size and scope of government which is going to bankrupt our kids and our grandkids.

I’ve had enough of politicians in both parties, who don’t seem to want to change this path we’re on, don’t understand how serious this is, and only care about getting reelected.

And I’ve had enough with both Republicans and Democrats in Washington who are ignoring or dismissing the real anger, concern, and passion most of us are feeling right now about the direction of our country.

Every day, the government is getting involved in parts of our lives that it didn’t used to and spending money it doesn’t have. This has gotten most of us pretty fed up, frustrated, scared, confused, and yes, angry. We’re not a “fringe group” as the media would have you believe. The vast majority of us has had enough with this change and is beginning to do something about it.

We’re marching in DC, we’re holding tea party rallies around the country, we’re asking pointed questions at town hall meetings, and we’re meeting in small groups with friends and neighbors. And our ranks are growing.

This movement is being led by everyday citizens, not politicians.

I want to help give a political voice to this anger and passion because I am part of it - I, too, am fed up, frustrated, scared, confused, and angry and I’m running for Congress to do something about it.

I will never speak like a politician because I’m not one. I will only speak and vote my convictions and if that costs me this election or a reelection down the road, so be it. I have no interest in spending the rest of my life in Washington, DC so if I win next year, I’ll pledge never to serve more than six years. And I have no interest in running a typical campaign - nobody wants to hear the same old talking points from either party.

No, I intend to run a crusade against this out of control government. And I intend to help round up every fed-up, frustrated, scared, confused, and angry citizen in the 8th District and help them make a real difference.

I don’t want to just run against the status quo, though. I’m a proud Reagan Republican who will stand up for the principles of limited government, free enterprise, and lower taxes. These are the principles that will spur our economy and create jobs. I’m pro-life and will protect our second amendment rights. I favor health care reform that expands private sector options for consumers and lowers costs, but I vehemently oppose any government takeover of our health care system. Finally, I will provide real leadership on the issue of expanding Route 53 in our district.

Most of all, I want to listen to you. If like me, you’ve had enough, send me a message to let me know what you think about the issues.

Help us start something big. It really is important.
